Important News Regarding DC Legislative Update
In our April 2025 Special Assessment newsletter and in a recent article on our website we provided an update on some changes to the D.C. Condominium Act, including an advisory regarding a potential gap between the expiration of temporary legislation authorizing e-meetings, and the effective date of permanent legislation authorizing e-meetings. Fortunately, the D.C. Council has now adopted further temporary legislation that will be effective between the two earlier pieces of legislation. Condominium associations are free to move forward with e-meetings in accordance with the Act without concern for any particular dates.
