Seminars on Community Association Law and Governance

Virginia – D.C. law firm providing education and training, including Va. manager CICB credits

The Firm’s legal seminars in Virginia and D.C. are complimentary for all clients and guests of the Firm.  These presentations are held throughout the year and include updates on legislation and case law, as well as other ongoing topics such as covenants enforcement, collections and community association practices.  The Firm is certified by the Virginia Common Interest Community Board to teach 4 hours of community manager license renewal training, which is open to managers and covers Common Interest Community Law (2 hrs) and Fair Housing (2 hrs). Legal Seminar Series

The 2017 Seminar Series has concluded.  The 2018 schedule will be announced in early 2018. 

Each year, seminar sessions include a Legislative Update and four or five other topics and are typically approved by the Community Association Managers International Certification Board ( to fulfill continuing education requirements for the CMCA® certification.  The schedule for 2017 is listed below. Please note that due to demand, we had two seminars in the Fairfax location, so clients can pick which session they prefer to attend.  This will likely occur in 2018 as well.  Topics for particular session are noted below the venue, with Legislative Update presented at all sessions.
