Virginia CICB Training 

The Firm is certified by the Virginia Common Interest Community Board to teach 4 hours of community manager license renewal training, which is open to Virginia managers and covers Common Interest Community Law (2 hrs) and Fair Housing (2 hrs). We schedule CICB sessions throughout the year. If a management company is interested in scheduling a session for its managers, contact Michele Green, [email protected]. 

2024 Legal Zoom Webinar Series 

Our Firm will be hosting monthly live Webinars on Mondays during the last week of each month from March through October 2024 (with two sessions in June).  During each one-hour Webinar, two topics are taught by two CWMEB attorneys, followed by a live Q&A  session in multiple breakout Zoom rooms staffed by the Firm’s attorneys. 

The dates, times, topics and likely speakers for the 2024 Zoom Webinar Series are listed below.  Webinars were free to all clients and guests of the Firm.  The link below allows attendees to register to attend the Webinars. 

The Webinar Series is approved for credit with Community Associations Institute. To get your certificate for any individual session with confirmed attendance, you may email Niyati Vaidya at [email protected].

Special Announcement – The Firm is converting the September 23 Webinar to focus solely on the Corporate Transparency Act, which has a reporting requirement that most associations will have to comply with by January 1, 2025. If you have already registered for the September 23 Session, you need not re-register. The Firm is also opening additional slots for other interested clients and managers. The social media topic scheduled for September has been moved to the October Webinar date.

Please note that in 2025, the Firm will be scheduling a few in-person seminars to accompany the Webinar series. These will be announced in January 2025, when the full schedule is released.

Once you register for a Session, confirmation emails will be sent to all registrants. At least one day prior to the Webinar, registrants will receive an email with a personalized link to the Zoom Webinar session. A separate link will be sent before or during the session to download the slides presented during the Webinar. 

The Sessions will be recorded and may be made available for viewing on the Firm’s private YouTube channel for those unable to attend.
